Step 1: Open Hardware Settings
Power on your S700 device.
On the welcome screen, tap Hardware Settings.
Enter the Admin PIN: 07139.

Step 2: Generate a Pairing Code
Tap Generate a new pairing code.
Write down the pairing code shown on screen.
Tap the back arrow until you return to the login screen.
Step 3: Log In to VanillaPOS
Email: Enter the user email provided to you.
Password: Use the password you received or updated in the VanillaPOS Dashboard.
⚠️ Note: Passwords are case sensitive.
Step 4: Enter Your User PIN
A PIN pad will appear after login.
Enter your 4-digit PIN (e.g. 1111) that was assigned or updated in the dashboard.
Tap the bottom-right arrow to continue.
Lock Screen Tip: If the device is inactive for 10 minutes, it will lock automatically. Just enter your 4-digit PIN to unlock and resume use.
Step 5: Enter Store Details
Enter your store’s address → tap Continue.
Enter your location name (e.g. Atlanta Store) → tap Continue.
Enter the pairing code you saved earlier.
Step 6: Confirm Reader Connection
In the Settings menu, your handoff reader should show as Connected.
Step 7: Exit Settings
Press the Home button to exit settings.
Re-enter your 4-digit PIN when prompted.
Step 8: Take a Payment
On the main menu, tap Charge.
Enter an amount.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transaction.
