What to Expect in the Onboarding Flow

  1. Invitation Email

    • You will receive an email invite or click a link from the platform your are a part of to join VanillaPOS.

    • The invite contains a temporary username and password.

  2. First Login

    • Click the link in the email and login using your temporary credentials.

  3. Set Your Password

    • Immediately upon login, you’ll be prompted to choose a new password.

    • This ensures your account is secure.

  4. Stripe Setup

    • After resetting your password, you’ll see a Stripe sign-up screen.

    • Here you can:

      • Sign in with an existing Stripe account (if you already have one), OR

      • Create a new Stripe account right in the flow.

  5. Automatic Connection

    • Your Stripe account will be automatically connected to the platform’s parent Stripe account.

    • This links your franchise for payments and deposits.

  6. Completion

    • Once finished, you’ll be redirected into your Vanilla dashboard.

    • A confirmation will display that your onboarding is complete.

Key Notes for You

  • The process takes only a few minutes.

  • Stripe may ask for business or banking details (for payouts).

  • Once done, you’re ready to start taking payments in VanillaPOS.
