The Stripe Management area gives Account Admins of Stripe Express connected accounts access to payout information, Stripe account settings, and support resources without requiring a separate Stripe Dashboard login.
Access requirement: Stripe Management is available only to Account Admins when viewing an account that uses Stripe Express. It is not available to non-admin users or accounts using another Stripe account type.
Open Stripe Management
Select Stripe Management from the left-hand navigation.
Choose one of the following areas:
Payouts
Settings
Stripe Support
View payout balances and history
Select Stripe Management > Payouts to review your current balance, upcoming payouts, payout destination, and payout history.
Payout summary
The top of the Payouts page displays:
Total balance: The total balance currently associated with your Stripe account.
Available to payout: Funds that are currently available for payout.
Next scheduled payout: Information about your next automatic payout.
Select the balance details to view a more detailed breakdown, including:
Funds that are on the way to your bank
Estimated upcoming payouts
Funds currently available in your Stripe balance
Your total balance
Tooltips are available in the dashboard to explain each balance category.
Payout destination and schedule
A summary beneath the balance information shows:
Your current automatic payout schedule
The connected bank account that will receive your payouts
All Stripe Express connected accounts use daily automatic payouts by default.
To change your payout schedule, select the payout-settings option on the Payouts page or open Stripe Management > Settings.
Payout history
The payout-history table displays the following information:
Column | Description |
Date | The date the payout was issued |
Status | The current status of the payout |
Destination | The bank account or financial account receiving the payout |
Amount | The exact amount of the payout |
Payout statuses may include:
Paid
Pending
In transit
Failed
Cancelled
Filter payout history
Use the filters above the payout-history table to find a specific payout or group of payouts.
You can filter by:
Method: Instant or Standard
Amount: Equal to, between, greater than, or less than a selected value
Status: Paid, Pending, In transit, Failed, or Cancelled
Date: The date or date range in which the payout was issued
You can apply more than one filter to narrow the results further.
Manage Stripe account settings
Select Stripe Management > Settings to review and update information associated with your Stripe Express connected account.
The Settings area includes:
Business profile
Legal information
Tax details
Payout settings
Outstanding account requirements
Account restrictions
Business, legal, and tax information can be edited from this area - this includes updating the bank account that receives payouts from.
Review any requirements or restrictions displayed on the page and follow the provided instructions to complete the necessary action.
To change your automatic payout schedule, open the payout-settings section and select the schedule you want to use.
Please Note: When viewing the Settings area in Stripe Management, you may be asked to sign in before accessing all settings - pressing the 'Sign In' button should automatically connect to Stripe and display all Stripe settings.
Get help with your Stripe account
Select Stripe Management > Stripe Support when you need help with a payout, account requirement, onboarding issue, or another Stripe-related problem.
Start with detected issues
Review any detected issues displayed at the top of the page. Many account requirements can be completed directly from the Vanilla Dashboard.
Follow the available prompts to provide missing information or resolve the issue.
Contact Vanilla Support in the dashboard
Use the in-app messenger to:
Search recommended Help Center articles
Review suggested answers
Start a conversation with the Vanilla Support team
Depending on support availability, the conversation may continue through the in-app messenger or email.
Contact Vanilla Support by email
The Stripe Support page includes an email option for contacting Vanilla Support.
When you select the email link, the complete support context displayed on the page is automatically included in the message. This helps the support team identify the affected account and investigate the issue more efficiently.
The included support context may contain:
Your organization
Your Vanilla account details
Your Stripe account details
Your user information
Your current onboarding state
When manually entering the Vanilla Support email address in your email provider instead of selecting the email link, copy the displayed support context and include it in your message.
Important: Include the support context only in a message sent to the Vanilla Support team. Do not share account identifiers or onboarding information in a public forum.
Stripe escalation
If the issue must be resolved by Stripe, the Vanilla Support team will escalate it to Stripe on your behalf.
You do not need to open a separate Stripe support ticket unless the Vanilla Support team instructs you to do so.

Troubleshooting
I do not see Stripe Management in the sidebar
Confirm the following:
You are signed in as an Account Admin.
You selected the correct account using the account switcher.
The selected account uses Stripe Express.
Stripe Management does not appear for non-admin users, platform accounts, standalone accounts, or accounts using another Stripe Connect configuration.
When all requirements are met but the option is still missing, contact Vanilla Support through the in-app messenger.
A payout is pending or in transit
Open the payout in the payout-history table to review its current status and destination.
You can also open Stripe Management > Settings to check for account requirements or restrictions. Contact Vanilla Support when the status does not update as expected.
A payout failed
Review the connected bank account, outstanding requirements, and restrictions shown in Stripe Management.
When the reason for the failure is not clear, contact Vanilla Support and include the support context displayed on the Stripe Support page.
How do I change my payout schedule?
Stripe Express connected accounts use daily automatic payouts by default.
To update the schedule:
Open Stripe Management > Payouts or Stripe Management > Settings.
Select the payout-settings option.
Choose the preferred available schedule.
Save your changes.
Can regular account users access Stripe Management?
No. Stripe Management is available only to Account Admins of accounts that use Stripe Express.
Do I need to contact Stripe directly?
Start with Vanilla Support. If the issue requires Stripe’s assistance, the Vanilla Support team will escalate it with the account information needed for investigation.
