How to Add a Store/Location in Vanilla
Overview
Before you can register a device in VPOS, you must first create a store (stores can be thought of as locations). Each device is linked to a specific store/location.
Creating a store/location only takes a few seconds and allows your devices to process transactions under the correct address.
Step 1 - Open the Stores page
From the VPOS dashboard:
Navigate to Stores in the left menu.
Click Add Store.
Step 2 - Enter the store address
Start typing the address for the new location.
VPOS will automatically suggest matching addresses as you type.
Select the correct address from the list.
This address will be used as the official location for transactions processed at this store.
Step 3 - Save the store
Once the address is selected, save the store. The location will now appear in your Stores list.
Please Note: Stores can can be renamed, but their locations can not currently be edited from the dashboard. If you need to update a store's address, please contact Vanilla support.
What happens next
Once your store is created:
It becomes available when registering devices
It is linked to your payment account
