The VanillaPOS Dashboard is the main landing page you see when logging into your VanillaPOS portal. It provides access to navigation, account management, and core features such as reports, products, customers, and discounts.
Screen Sections & Features
Left-Hand Sidebar Navigation
The left-hand sidebar is your primary navigation within VanillaPOS. The sidebar can be expanded or collapsed using the arrow icon in the upper left corner.

The sidebar is always visible and allows quick access to key areas of the platform.
Account Information and Switching
Active Account Name
At the top of the dashboard, you will see the name of the account you are currently logged into.
Account Switcher
If your login is associated with multiple accounts, an account switcher will be available.
The account switcher allows you to move between linked accounts.
Select an account from the list to switch contexts.
Reports
The Revenue Report
The Reports section currently includes the Revenue Report, which is open when first viewing your Vanilla dashboard
Please Note: The default Revenue Report view displays the current day's transactions. To view more transactions, select the 'Filter' button in the upper right hand corner and updates the dates and transaction type
The Revenue Report provides:
A view of all charges and refunds in your account
Data filtered by a selected date range
Filtering and Exporting:
By default, the report is filtered to the current date.
Use the Filters option in the top right corner to adjust the date range.

Products
The Products section displays all products created by you or your organization.
The products table includes:
Product image
Product name
Inventory levels
Pricing information
Selecting a product allows you to view and manage additional product details.
Please note: Products can be physical, digital or subscription products.

Customers
The Customers section provides a list of all customers associated with your account.
This includes:
Customers who have completed transactions
Detailed customer information for each customer record
This view helps you understand and manage your customer base directly within VanillaPOS.
Discounts
The Discounts section contains all discounts created for your account.
From this page, you can:
View active and inactive discounts
Review discount details
Manage and update existing discounts
User Profile and Logout
In the lower left-hand corner of the dashboard, you will find your user information:
Your username
The email address associated with your account
User Menu
Click the vertical ellipses menu to access:
Your profile settings
Password updates and basic account options
The option to log out of VanillaPOS
The Dashboard serves as the central hub for navigating VanillaPOS and managing your account, products, customers, reporting, and promotions.
